School + Teacher Programs
Our school and teacher programs offer a full range of experiences to spark creativity and critical thinking. Explore art from California and around the world on a tour, or experience hands-on artmaking with a Tour + Workshop. Unable to leave the classroom? The Crocker presents fun and engaging art education experiences at your school, in person or virtually. We also offer or Homeschool Days that bring homeschool students from all over the region to the Crocker for both intellectual and social stimulation. And don’t forget, the Crocker is the perfect place for teachers to expand their practices, sharpen their skills, network, and enjoy professional development.
As a leading-provider of arts education in the greater-Sacramento area, the Crocker Art Museum knows that offering programs that align with the Content Standards is crucial for the success, integration and participation of teachers and students. We work in close alignment with the content standards to make teachers' lives easier, click here for a full list of the standards covered by specific programs we offer.
