The city of Sacramento’s new Creative Economy Pilot Project grants have been awarded, and the Crocker would love to congratulate the applicants who received funding for their projects! After a rigorous selection process, 57 applications received funding, and the Crocker is proud to call many of the recipients friends and partners.
Through its support of local arts and culture projects, the city‘s goal is to stimulate significant economic development and activity in targeted areas. With the support of these grants, the recipients are able to test their projects in the community and affect positive social impact through their creative contributions.
Way to go!
Congratulations to ALL the recipients, including our friends: Zero Forbidden Goals and Gioia Fonda, Calidanza, The Cypher Hip Hop Workshops, Eben Burgoon, Benwar Shepherd, Celebration Arts, George Holden, and Deborah Pittman!
