Here at the Crocker, we believe that everyone should have barrier-free access to the arts. That's why the 3rd Sunday of the month is always "Pay What You Wish Sunday", when visitors are granted free admission to the Museum and can choose whether to make a donation.
In 2012, leaders at the Crocker and Western Health Advantage realized their shared vision of making the Museum’s offerings accessible to all. A generous sponsorship provided by the Northern California health plan led to the development of Pay What You Wish Sundays as part of a collaborative, ongoing effort to improve wellness and education in Northern California communities.

“Great art is crucial for a healthy community,” says Garry Maisel, president and CEO of Western Health Advantage. “We are committed to improving the health and well-being of our neighbors, and we want to see even more visitors spend quality time in the Crocker’s galleries this year.”
In 2016, more than 16,000 people visited the Museum on Pay What You Wish Sundays, and thousands more are already taking advantage of the program in 2017.

That’s something everyone who visits us can be proud of.”
The Crocker Art Museum is open to the public Tuesdays through Sundays 10 AM – 5 PM and Thursdays 10 AM – 9 PM, except major holidays.
