The Sisters Quilting Collective had its beginning in 2012 after an exhibition of quilts was held at the Brickhouse Art Gallery.

The Sisters Quilting Collective had its beginning in 2012 after an exhibition of quilts was held at the Brickhouse Art Gallery. The mission of the Sisters Quilting Collective is to bring awareness of the historical value of African-American quilters and quilts of the African Diaspora, as well as to celebrate and continue the tradition of quilting.
