Theresa Riviera

Theresa Riviera is a community strategic influencer and has had 35 years of experience in public service, working towards cultivating opportunities, access, and the advancement of equity and equality for Sacramento’s diverse economic and cultural communities.

Theresa has also served on various City and County boards and commissions, which has given her insight on the issues and concerns of local residents. This experience has also allowed her to learn about governmental processes and restrictions and to develop effective cooperative working relationships with her colleagues to build effective solutions.

Riviera is a resident of Sacramento, along with her husband and two sons. She is currently a mentor and enjoys helping others and sharing her knowledge.
